MAPS is seeking interns in the following general areas for Summer/Fall 2014:

• Events and Sales Assistant

Please read the information below completely to ensure that you understand the requirements, and fill out our online application form.

All positions are unpaid, and unless otherwise noted, interns must be willing and able to work at our administrative offices in Santa Cruz, CA. Interns are expected to work an average of two days a week, unless otherwise noted. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer housing assistance at this time. Interns also receive a discount on MAPS merchandise and access to our staff library.

Our office is small, tight-knit, and passionate about the work we are doing, and we always welcome the new energy and skills of interns. We will do our best to give you work that excites you and assists you in your own career goals, whether in or beyond the field of psychedelic science. Interns currently enrolled as university students may receive credit for their time with us (as long as you assume the responsibility for figuring out the requirements for their institution) but applicants are not required to be current students. A diversity of ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Hi all,

As you know there will be a fundraiser for MAPS psychedelic research on April 22^nd in Vancouver.  A number of MAPS USA staff will be coming to Vancouver to assist in this process.  As MAPS is always interested in being as cost efficient as possible they are looking for accommodation for a few nights around the dates of April 21 – 24.  If you (or someone you know) is willing and able to offer a bed (and warm welcome) to these great folks please reply to Virginia (virginia@maps.org) with the details.
